GLYNDE STOOLBALL CLUB'S SUCCESS

Bravo! Glynde Stoolball Club. For the second year in succession they have won the championship banner of the Stoolball League, defeating Laughton on Monday in the final. The match took place in the Paddock, Lewes, by kind permission of Mr C T Shepherd Smith. Batting first, Laughton were dismissed for 80, Miss Gilbert playing well for 41. Glynde were somewhat unfortunate in having Miss E Brand given out when she had made ten runs, but subsequent members proved equal to the task set them and won comfortably. Scores:-
