Type in the word or phrase you want to search for and click on the search button (magnifier icon).

• Choose a colour if you want the search text highlighted when you view the retrieved pages.
• Check "Match case" if you want capital letters to matter.
• Check "New window" if you want the results to be listed in a new tab/window.

Click the Clear button to clear the search results & the Index button to list everything.

Your word or phrase is searched for in the following areas

• Properties: Title, Body text.
• Images: Caption
• Documents: Title, Body text.
• Censuses: Address, Name, Occupation, Birth parish.
• Electoral registers: House/Street Name, Surname.
• People: Name, Maiden Name, Body text.

Click anywhere on this panel to hide it.
