A true and perfect inventory and appraisement of all and singular the wearing apparel, household goods, furniture and implements of household money, timber working tools, chells, quick and dead stock of Henry Burges, senior, late of Glynde in the County of Sussex, wheelwright, deceased, taken and appraised this 7th day of January 1731 as followeth:

One clock and case, one long table, 4 joined stools, one oval table, one old joined settle, 17 pewter dishes and apy[?] plate, 8 pewter plates, one pewter colander, one pewter pot, 2 pottingers and a funnell, a brass warming pan, one pair of andirons, 5 iron pottage pots, one brass kettle, one iron kettle, one iron skillet, 3 brass skillets, one brass saucepan, two tin dripping pans, a tin cover and some other small things, a pair of stillyards, two pair of pothangers, gridirons, slice, bellows, fire shovel and tongs, two spits, one bacon rack, 6 chairs	£6 0s 6d
