Much of Andrew's information comes from The Glynde Place Archive that now
resides at East Sussex Records Office which he has plundered over many years
to develop an astonishing knowledge of Glynde. Many generations of his family
have lived here and in the neighbouring village of Firle.
All the old images reproduced here come from his collection of postcards and photographs.
Chris came up with the idea of creating an interface based on maps of ealier
times but using the design style of a modern Ordnance Survey map. This
consistency makes it easier to concentrate on the differences in the maps' content
without being distracted by changes in their design.
